I am a quarter share owner of a condo at San Luis Resort, in Galveston TX. I had a rental agreement signed with the hotel to rent. I called one day to reserve my room for use when it was my share. They said you guests are in the room. I said I don't have any guest in the room. After holding online, the reservation came back and told me that my room was rented for two weeks. Kept calling every other day to check on that. I got the same answer. Waited for the check. Nothing. Emailed asking for the rental check. They told me that my room was never rented, no records it was rented. accounting, reservation, management. all denied that it was rented. I kept trying to tell them what happened. Then they did say oh, we had to track the cleaning records and found out that the room was rented for 2 nights only for the Condo Council. I am telling them that the room was reserved for the whole 2 weeks and not only 2 nights. The hotel that was supposed to rent it and send the payment says the Condo Council should pay you for the 2 nights. I have the emails that says the room was never rented. Since I know the room was shown as occupied all the 2 weeks period. How can I make them pay for the 2 weeks not only 2 nights or what do you think of this?... Read More »
